Federica Carnevale studied dance at an early age, and then dedicated her studies to dramatic and experimental theatre.  She participated in masterclasses with the Living Theatre and l’Odin Teatret, historically famous theatre groups of the 1900’s and participated in many theatrical productions with numerous companies.
She enrolled at the University of Studies in L′Aquila, her hometown, and graduated with high honors in Letters and Philosophy.
She enrolled comtemporarily at the Conservatory “A. Casella” in L′ Aquila, graduating with honors under the guidance of Maestro Mario Machi and Maestro Cesare Scarton. 
After which, she studied at the Opera Studio at Accademia Santa Cecilia and she studied german lieder  with Ulf Bastlein and Stacey Bartsch at the University for Music Darstellende Kunst in Graz and french melody with Brigitte Balley and Jeff Cohen at the Conservatory of Strasbourg.

Ms. Carnevale is the winner of several important international vocal competitions, most notably  Toti dal Monte (2009), A. Belli in Spoleto (2006) Mattia Battistini Prize (2003)
In 2010 she won first prize in the International Competition for Sacred Music in Rome.

After winning the A.Belli Competition she took part in the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale in Spoleto and sang the roles of Rosina in Rossini’s “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” and Angelina in Rossini’s “La Cenerentola” , on 2007 and 2008, on tour throughout Italy, Japan, Qatar, Romania, St. Petersbourg. 
She repeated the role of Angelina as her debut role with the Piccolo Teatro Regio in Torino in 2008 and 2009. 
In 2010 she sang the role of Norina in “Don Pasquale”, in a production of the Pauline Viardot version, realized by the Teatro Olimpico of Vicenza under the direction of Maestro Giovanni Battista Rigon and staged by Francesco Bellotto.
In the same year he was chosen by Maestro Muti for the Jommelli′s Opera “Betulia Liberata”, as a cover for the role of Juditha.
In January 2011 she participated in two first productions in modern times: of the opera “L′inimico delle donne” of Galuppi at the l’Opera Royal de Wallonie of Liège conducted by maestro Rinaldo Alessandrini, and of the oratorio “A Maria Dolorata of Leonardo Vinci in Rome.

Thanks to winning the Toti del Monte Competition, between 2009 and 2012 she sang the role of Rosina in Haydn’s  “La vera costanza” under the direction of Maestro Jesus Lopez Cobos at the Teatro Real in Madrid, Teatro Comunale of Treviso, National Theatre of Sofia, Teatro Valli of Reggio Emilia, Opéra de Saint Etienne, Opéra Royal de Wallonie (Liège), Opéra de Rouen-Haute Normandie.

In the 2013 he sang in the Accademia Filarmonica Romana in "Passio" by P.Cascioli, oratorio in world first performance, and she took part, with great success with audience and critics, in the first performance in modern times of "L′ambizione delusa" by Leonardo Leo, at the XIXXX Festival of Valle d′Itria, Martinafranca.
She played, with great success, the role of Isabella, in "L′Italiana in Algeri", by G. Rossini, in Marrucino Theatre in Chieti.

In 2014/2016 she was Arminda "La Finta Giardiniera" by WA Mozart at the Opéra de Rouen Haute-Normandie, under the baton of A. Spering, and was a guest of the Festival of Valle d′Itria with the first performance in modern times of "Armida" by T.Traetta, under the direction of D . Fasolis , she was also Alcina in the first performance in modern times of "Le Fate" by GA Ristori, in ′Ekhoff Festival in Gotha (Germany), she was Suzuki in Puccini′s "Madama Butterfly"in Marrucino Thatre in Chieti, Giovanna in Verdi′s Rigoletto in Oper Schenkenberg.

In 2017 she was Zita in Puccini′s Gianni Schicchi at Verdi Theatre in Trieste, Carmen in the title′s role of the Bizet′s opera in Siracusa (Mythos Opera Festival), and Amneris in Verdi′s′"Aida" at Cirella Opera Festival. In 2018 she was Marcellina in Mozart′s "Le Nozze di Figaro" in Piccolo Opera Festival del FVG, Zita in "Gianni Schicchi" in Teatro Verdi di Trieste, and Argene in Vivaldi′s "L′Olimpiade" in Basel and Herne with La Cetra Barockorchester & Vokalensemble under the baton of Andrea Marcon.

Nel 2019 she replied Argene with La Cetra e Andrea Marcon at Amsterdam Concertgebow, she was Mercedes in Bizet′s Carmen at Teatro Verdi (Trieste) and Autonoe in Porpora′s "Orfeo" in Festival della Valle d′Itria.


In the context of contemporary music he has participated in some First World Representations: 2005 “La Nave a tre piani” , di Carlo Boccadoro (Auditorium di Santa Cecilia, Roma) e “Don Chisciotte” di G. Paisiello-H.W.Henze (30° Cantiere d′arte di Montepulciano), 2007 “Studio su Obra Maestra” di G. Mancuso, con la regia di Pippo Del Bono (Teatro Caio Melisso, Spoleto), 2008 “Arcibaldo Sonivari” di M. Pagotto (Teatro Comunale di Modena “L. Pavarotti”), 2013 “Passio” di P. Cascioli (Accademia Filarmonica Romana).
